Continuous endeavors while relishing life have got me where I am today !!
An alumnus of SRCC, Gargi Boora makes her Alma mater proud by getting admission into the prestigious “Delhi School Of Economics.”
Here is a snippet of an email interview with her..Hope u enjoy reading this!!
Q1.How did you decide that you would go for MA ? Why not MBA or CA ?
After completing my high school, I was all set to go for Engineering but, I developed interest and desire to study Economics out of nowhere. I got through SRCC which was more than I asked for. After completing two most memorable years of my life at SRCC, it was my third year when I had to decide for post graduation. Though continuing in Economics was my priority, but still I went for MBA. I studied, gave the exam but could not score well. Therefore, forgetting about everything, I was back on track for M.A. Economics which is something, I think, I am made for. Then I studied, spent pretty much time sharpening the concepts and finally, landed at DSE.
Q2.Was it been your top priority to get into DSE or was it just an opportunity you grabbed?
I had many options (DSE, JNU, PU, etc.) in my hands and, I kept on juggling for a week. The most difficult thing is to decide which university/ college to go for but, somewhere down I knew DSE is my priority and, I grabbed it.
Q3.What do you think was the most important factor that helped you reach here?
Well, I would say in my life two factors have helped me which are Faith in Almighty and incessant hard work.
Q4. What was your academic record in graduation and how much that contributed to your entrance in post graduation?
I graduated in first division. My performance in graduation was the key reason which helped me in getting through DSE.
Q5.Comparing SRCC and DSE did you find any difference in college environment?
No doubts about that, these two campuses are poles apart. The liveliness captured at SRCC is unbeatable. DSE being a postgraduate learning institution has its own charm.
Q6.What are your future plans?
There are many future plans. Let’s see how things turn up. For the time being, I am living and enjoying my present.
Q7.What would you advice to the young of DSE?
We are required to do just two things simultaneously which are continuous endeavors and relishing life. However, People at DSE are smart ones. They don’t need advice.
Indeed an influential personality with an impelling journey….Her success really inspires!!
