On 1st of February 2016, SRCC gave a day full of opportunities to every student to grow in a
better way and to learn something better and explore something more. The Entrepreneurship
cell of the college had organized an internship fair for students all across Delhi. It was
witnessed by the huge crowd from not only the Host College but also aspirants across Delhi
University and Indraprastha University. There came a number of startups like serveX,
feature, Getzkick, Business World, Eden of Life etc.
The interviews were scheduled in the front lawns of the college from 10.30 A.M. For every
1st year, it was a new experience. Irrespective of whether they get hired by any startup of not,
it was a new experience to formally face an interview and learn how things function in a
practical corporate world, a knowledge which books often fail to provide.
The fair opened to every candidate a chance to meet different people and make new contacts,
interact and grow s a person. Long queues and various aptitude tests and group discussions
were no doubt tiring but at the same time were equally worth. The students were given
opportunities to join startups as interns and work both virtually and in summer on daily shift
basis.
No doubt it was a great experience for every aspirant who attended the fair. They got to learn
the professional ways of facing an interview and figured how things actually work out.
Experiences like these are always helpful and shall always be cherished by everyone.

Finally the day had come when we could see our thoughts in action. The society had organized
an internship fair for all the aspirants from Delhi. We had been working on it since a month be it
raising funds, contacting startups, getting people registered to the final day organizing of the
event. The event overall was a great success. We had a huge crowd of students applying for
internship. The companies also turned up well and were satisfied with everything from
organizing to the final result. They got to witness a talented crowd of students to choose the best
from. The entire cell coordinated very well and we could complete the event without any chaos.
It was a great experience organizing the fest.
The event started at 10.30 and each company was provided their personal space to host the
interviews. Few of them also had their own rounds of written test and group discussions as well.
Things worked on very well. We were able to give maximum possible to every student as well as
the teams. All of them went satisfied. A few of them got selected and were overjoyed by the
news. For those who did not, it was still an enriching experience because every failure is a tep
ahead in the direction of success. So things went really well and we were able to put up a great
show.
