BLACK

I envelop the globe
And blind the human eye.
They say I pervert the air
I say,
I am the poison of your soul
I am the dark
I am the deep
I am BLACK.

They dodge and duck
And evade and escape.
They line their purse with penny.
A bundle of futile papers
is what they demand
to get into deception.
They say its corruption
I say,
Its me, the poison of your soul
I am the dark
I am the deep
I am BLACK.

They strike and slur
and abuse and affront
To keep their ascendency intact.
They whip them off the human decency
Let alone worshipping.
They say its Gender bias.
I say,
Its me, the poison of your soul.
I am the dark
I am the deep
I am BLACK.

They infect and clutter
And contaminate and scutter
But keep their dwellings oh so spsckless
Yet it returns back to its origin
When they hustle in the infirmary.
They call it pollution.
I say,
Its me, the poison of your soul
I am the dark
I am the deep
I am BLACK.
